Encouraging people to consume more sustainably?

  • Lobbying for an expanded network of local food markets with a national ad campaign promoting their use.
  • Gov funded community programmes guiding people on producing food in their own gardens.
  • Prices for consumer products more closely aligned to carbon emissions.

  1. The local food stuff, is good idea and has been push a resonable ammount in recent years

    There is an issue with this approach though that it does not takel where the realembeded emissions in food are.

    -Meat and dairy.
    -Fertilisers and pesticides.
    -Processing.

    These issues need to be given just as much creadnace.
