GDP or GNH?

Making the transition to a sustainable economy could, in my opinion, begin by using alternative well-being measures alongside GDP. It's simply not a case of "getting rid" of GDP. It's a measure that the corporate world understands and are fundamentally guided by. We will have to build capacity towards understanding alternative measures. Firms will at least then begin to appreciate how these alternative measures fluctuate with variations in GDP. A starting point at least!
